Ray my point is that it is only the new bridge and the trees affected by it. The other trees for felling, including the lovely mature Willow by the steps, are not included in this application.
Anything outside the replacement of the bridge is not covered in this application and thats my point. When and how do we get a say on the rest???
Not sure about the Environment Agency as they have not covered themselves in glory managing the river to date. It's been covered in the river clean up threads on the forum before.
Jan, this route will attract students and the skate park crowd. Not sure they will be as considerate as you have experienced at Morrisons.
Yes no one knows what they intend to do so the "cunning plan" should be part of a planning application so everyone, particularly those in the flood plain, knows what is proposed and can object if it puts them at even greater risk of flooding.
All I'm asking is that they let us know and we can have our say if we want to. If people don't care they won't bother.
