On the subject of the River Dour and its path.

I notice that on Lorne Road a development has started which looks like it has permanently blocked off any likelihood of a riverside path between Lorne Road and Cherry Tree Avenue (at least on that bank of the river).

Is it really worth still signing the river walk if no effort is made to join the sections up when the opportunity arises?

Another example is the old London Fancy Box site where at least a path was partially built, but with no public access! There is a chance this path could be opened up and extended into the car park behind Halfords. I'm sure that not many people there know that the weir even exists.

Also the new information board at the Beaconsfield end of Barton Path has been vandalised with marker pen. Whose responsibility is it for the upkeep of this sign?
