    they are ap;pointing ANOTHER high paid officer to over see the merger?
    no mention of slimming dowen officers
    is there a reason why the 2 chief executives earning over £150,000 could not do this job?
    are we to see one or both of these to disappear in this merged services
    or are we just yet another high paid officer to oversee something that the present two could do between them
