  The trouble with such warnings is that you then get a deluge of pointless postings, another thousand from Vic saying here I am and very few new threads to encourage posts. Of course another "problem" is the tendency of any thread to turn into a political debate, and thus become off-putting. It is far from neccessary for debates on beer or wildlife to take an ideological stance, with fringe party views thowing in, and yet it does happen.
  How about a thread on what people would like to see for their liesure time, without discussing government policy on the budget?
