It's upsticks time again. Why not pop down to near the clocktower on the seafront at just after 5am tomorrow (yes, there is such a time) to see the Morris Men greeting the dawn.
What fun, such larks! Yes, I'm just daft enough to go along.

Wow! that sounds like fun Terry, wish I could get down there but work won't permit. Look forward to seeing the photos though - good luck

There's always a little truth behind every "Just kidding", a little emotion behind every "I don't care" and a little pain behind every "I'm ok".

Nice start. Let's have more. Did Diane dance?
Back in another life, I used to dance in the May ... and for St George's Day also, complete with red rose. Ah, these wonderful pagan fertility rituals ...
Ahem.

Ah jeez thats a great one Terry... well done again. I had forgotten this sparkling event was on, otherwise I would have leapped from beneath the duvet, and hurtled seaward with pants afire to give total support...ermm cough!

Thanks TerryWell done to Diane too for getting up so early.
Maggie - is "dancing in the May" a euphamism for something a little untoward ??
Your spelling is atrocious Howard - bells indeed !

Roger - Well, I dunno about euphemisms, but dancing in the May always involves getting up early in the morning.

The problem is Maggie that with such poor light you are down to slow shutter speeds so movement blurring is a problem. Capturing the rising sun is also difficult, it either whitens out or the subjects dim. My software doesn't allow "dodging".

Great enough, Terry! I'm just so pleased to see them, especially the one with the sun coming up. Encapsulates it.
Did any of the local hostelries lay on breakfast for them? Used to be so, when we did it - all great fun.
