  that's a great shame, we may not agree but everyone has a voice that should b heard.
  
  if it helps, 30 years ago i set out as a youngster in politics and in my first year i was going to chuck it all in, the tories had big majority and listerned to no one,
  but by pure chance i spoke with a local constituent who told me i was doing a good job for the ward and stick it out, and i went on to do 25 years in local govt
  holdiung many positions insifde and outside the cabonet
  and varied committee's.
  
  
  there is no doubt it becomes very very frustrating, but hopefully i served a nd helped a little.
