  May blossom: " The HAWTHORN - was a highly magical tree in the pagan calendar
  for May 1 But, since 1751, when 12 days in our calendar were
  "removed", the tree is usually now in bloom about the 12th. Hawthorn
  often made a garland for the Green Man who took part in the chimney
  sweeps' revels on May Day, a symbol of returning summer."
  
  This is our RED May tree (not this year as it's not out yet!)

  - the pageant mummer of medieval England, was especially associated with the chimney sweeps' May Day festival.
  
  One of the sweeps, encased in a framework about 6 - 10 feet high made of lath and hoops and entirely covered with green holly boughs and ivy topped with flowers and ribbons, danced at the head of a line of chimneysweeps who advanced and capered and sang through the town, collecting pennies.
  
  They were accompanied by a fiddling fool and two other performers in red and yellow with tin whistle, black-encircled eyes, etc.

  all we need now is a Fiddliing Fool, 2 performers in red and yellow with whistle and a sweep !

  Humphy, your National Jedi Day got me whilst taking a sip of coffee, I laughed so much the coffee ended up on the screen, looks nice and clean now
