  I think we all know that various governments have their own ways of fiddling the figures but found out recently that the latest wheeze is to make claimants self employed. It turns out that if someone without a regular job does the odd day here and there they are classed as self employed but do not lose any benefit. Winners all round as the Jobcentres hit their targets and claimants don't have the indignity of signing on.
