    Martin Mill does of course have a rail station with one train each hour to Dover, Folkestone and beyond (i.e. London) and one per hour to Deal and beyond (that's Sandwich and Ramsgate).

    Show could be a problem on the relatively rare occasions we get it although no worse than any other village on higher ground in the South Kent area (and probably less of a problem than some).

    As to why prices are lower, maybe try some field research at The Lantern pub in nearby Martin?

    Now, if Martin Mill got High Speed Trains too...
