  Brian Dixon. There are the three shops along there. Directly opposite Marks and Spencer - Just stand outside M & S and look across - they are disgusting.
  
  Photographs should be taken and action too. The other shops and business owners are in despair because no-one seems to take notice or act on their behalf. There are many good, worthwhile and hard-working businesses in Dover High Street. Soon to be Dover's OLD High Street.
  
  It is all well and good have grand slams of ideas, and exhibitions etc. Peacock strutting it is. However, all these goodly pushers should get back to basics, and put pressure on the culprits who are letting this High Street sink. BACK TO BASICS AND THEN WORK ONWARDS AND UPWARDS.
  
  Clean windows, rubbish and cardboard removed from doorways. Clean these shops up, it is essential.
  
  If you look upwards along Cannon Street, it is unique. So much accommodation is empty, and
  unused - I don't know about the Ghosts of Dover, they should concentrate on the living and the Here and Now.
