  Thought I would start a thread drawing on comments today on different threads. In a couple of days time the multiscreen cinema will open and people(mostly young) will arrive from nearby towns that don't have a cinema. Then we will have curious people wanting to see the complex.
  
  Most will go through Market Square and see a closed pub, a café with promise(as per Patrick's photos), a plinth with nothing on it and planters that once offered elegant sailing ships but forgotten soon after the photo opportunities were complete.
  
  Brian is correct in that cruise visitors will be with us soon and gaze upon our centrepiece in wonder.
