  I hope I carried out my duties ok.I recall arguing about the refurbishment of Deal Pier.It came in twice as much as the original budget .I argued and the Chief Excutive said I put up a very strong arguement,my cabinet colleagues voted it through.He said that they would not let that happen again.I argued hard against the sale of the River Recreation Ground and with a lot of protesting the Rec.is now owned by the River Community.
  I always put people above politics.
