There were 3 walks with different themes Bern:
Frontline Dover - about Dover during the Second World War.
Napoleonic Dover - all about the Western Heights
The Walls of Dover - the ancient walls and gates of Dover.
First of all there was trouble with Public Liability Insurance, but we had the guides (Horace, Stewart Dimmock, Chris Precious and Georgette Rapley - all know lots about Dover's history so they were well qualified); then we got pledges for the insurance, but by that times the guides had moved on, so it never got off the ground.
All the information in the walks had been checked by Derek Leach of the Dover Society and Jon Iveson, the (DDC) Tourism Manager, both of whom of course know just above everything on Dover.
Paul - Scotchie, if WHPS would like to take them over, I am more than happy for you to do so.
Roger
