 - all street furniture is being painted in the market sq ---- photo of sign needed ----- on the royals jubilee tour of the uk we are told each town will only recieve 2 weeks notice due to security , so are we hoping for a visit or this for the flame arrival ?

 - Yes the plants  were provided  by DDC  also Officers were on hand to help .

 DDC were always going to plant, but I believe a little later. No one should take anything away from the volunteers though.
 
 It was DTC who said they weren't going to plant, not DDC (that is not a political statement at all, just a fact).

 - the lamp-posts look ok not rusty or peeling paint 
 if the council has money to spend on paint we have already said the place to take is for white lines between maxton and dover hill on the old a20 , only a matter of time before the next serious accident
 i have heard that in the last 6 weeks there has been 3 nasty accidents in the alkham valley , i have not that way for about a year so what are the road markings like through there ? and tha other major route dover to deal road ?

 - that would be the responsibility of the highways agency not any council.
