    Marek, I strongly suggest you join the Haemochromatosis Society. Lots of info on how to manage your situation and, just as important, how to manage doctors who do not fully understand the condition. It is sufficiently rare that many GPs have never encountered it or, more likely, have never successfully diagnosed it. It's not their fault, all the symptoms are non-specific and unless they have specialised in haematology or gastro-enterology they are unlikely to suspect it.
