I was chatting with a young girl today. She has learning difficulties and behavioral problems and is at a special school. She told me she was upset because her daddy wasn't going to be there for her birthday. When I asked why she said he is in prison. I didn't ask her why but she continued - telling me that mummy had an affair and daddy knifed the other man. This child is one of 8 children and she is 11 and the youngest. My point is this, if a child grows up in these circumstances surely it scars them and angers them, which may present itself in later life as aggression, specially in a child with this sort of problem. She is already having anger management and can be violent. It really upsets me when I hear of children suffering in this way because it shows a lack of parental support and guidance. Social services are on her case so at least someone cares.
This child lives in Essex but I'm sure there are similar cases happening elsewhere. Is it any wonder we get these violent actions and how do we stop it
