Yes indeed it seems to be a new sport victimising the disabled, we have seen several documentaries on this in recent times. Some people cant leave anyone with an affliction alone. I remember just a few years ago here there was a woman sleeping rough, she clearly had mental difficulties, but she was subjected to all sorts of abuse by the bored youth. it gave them a thrill, several people tried to stop it at different times. The woman eventually moved on or was taken away or something...but there seems to be a gene lurking not that far below the surface that brings this behaviour out.
It also must be said that the perpetual violence pouring out of our TV screens, our cinema screens, where all solutions to all problems are reached by killing, usally with guns, well all this doesnt help. No alternatives to killing are ever explored.
