Yes it is a stunning example Howard and situated in the old town. The Dome stands at 100 metres high. Or in other words..very high. Rebuilt in the 19th Century but I understand there have been pilgrims to the site from very early times. I will set myself a challenge to try and photograph it from my rear window. It can become particularly visible in the evening sun...but of course its a long way off for a photograph.
But back to St Mary's and I hope the organ recital goes well tomorrow, always worth putting a few bob in the plate to help in maintaining this piece of our heritage.
