Cycling used to be banned in my local park, people cycled, but they knew their place in the scheme of things. The world seemed to know that wildlife, children and dogs and the random nature of their doings had to be catered for. Then came Livingston and the far-ranging greening of man's interaction with city life.
How is it that people of all shapes, ages, genders and sizes while making their own lives safer and their journeys more pleasant feel free to transfer the dangers to all that are least best placed to cope?
The occasional 'tinkle-tinkle' of the bell translates these days to, "get the **** out of MY way".
The law of unintended consequences needs far more rigorous enforcement!!!
