  Sue, I hate to say it but your posts seem very biased against Mr. Rix. Some of these shops were in a similar state of dilapidation while Mr. Precious was Dover's mayor, but you have not been critical of the fact that he never got them cleaned up, instead you have praised him in another post for litter picking in Aycliffe now that he isn't the mayor any more.

  no mention of her cleaning up the vacant shops, just for working hard for her ward, as does Mr. Rix I'm sure. These shops have been an eyesore throughout the reign of several of Dover's mayors, perhaps you should mention all their names in relation to the state of the town rather than just the current mayor.
