  Although agreeing that 'play' is important in a childs development so is education. I think I may have focused more on getting these long term displaced nationals into some form of school. Maybe a couple of hours English languag lessons in a local church hall. Where they could also enjoy a chat with locals over a tea/coffee and biscuits.
  
  Keith fully agree with your comments regarding the term 'slovak' but that's more down to the gutter press who like to generalise when they refer to ethnic minorities and it's then picked up by the masses.
