  great to see our new lord strutting his stuff in his finery in the lords.
  
  certainly went up in my estimation today, he must have anticipated a long day as his ermine robe was forced outward by the stack of sandwiches hidden under it.

  When Prescott was on the election battle bus last time around (the one they won) I stopped him and handed him a rather large petition about cuts to Disabled Facility Grants in Thanet.
  He said I had (and I quote) "A bloody cheek"
  Made a fab headline!!

  Me, and the petition, accosting him while he was on the campaign trail!!! (We did win the campaign with an additional £1m put in the DFG pot but it took me a year of constant stories from people who were just left to get on with struggling without the adaptions)
