  they are all alive and well, the blue press over yesterday and today have waxed lyrical over a council issuing a booklet instructing staff not to use "mother in law" jokes.
  
  very boring you may say, the difference is that the local authority is the blue controlled barnet council.
  
  i blame that blue barry person for all this political correctness.

  i can remember when i was a kid reading an andy capp cartoon.
  
  andy to his mother in law, "don't stand on the doorstep in the driving snow, go home".

  Loonacy indeed. I would hope that Conservative members of the council get a grip on their officers and try to drum some common sense back into them.
