Think it's Barbara who sells Cashcade tickets by the turnstiles at Crabble for Dover home games?

Is this the same Horace that preceded the "Dover Greeters" with his barrow load of literature and friendly banter with the cruise visitors in Market Square?

Barbara does normally come to football when Dover are at home, if she is there today I will tell her you are asking after her and Horace.
It is correct that Horace is very ill, which may mean she will not turn up.

Yes sadly Horace passed away on Thursday. I spoke to Barbara Roger but she wants to be left alone at the moment, sorry.
Horace was one of those guys who would help anyone and his knowledge of several languages gave him the opportunity to help visitors to the town. Smashing person and a friend for many years,.
R.I.P. Horace ..

Sad news indeed, I never knew Horace but used to enjoy watching his performance with the tourists who clearly took to him. I was told that he spoke other languages too which took some visitors by surprise.
Condolences to the family and friends of a true Dover character.

So sorry to here of his passing. First met him when we were milkman together, what a great character and a truly wonderful gentleman, a true Dovorian, he will be sadly missed. RIP Horace.
