I did this race Saturday night. The start was late, I did not get over the line till 01:30! A fantastic ride though, enjoyed it far more than the day one last year! The route was a tad different and felt like more hills (as Linda has done the day one too I'd like to see if she agrees?) . Amazing to see the sun rise over the downs. When we crossed the finish the guy was announcing that they reckoned so far that half a million had been raised for the BHF. The day ride takes about 28000 people they said this one had just over 4000 (though it seemed like more). A fantastic achievement by all to complete it. I hope Linda enjoyed it as much as I did, would recommend it to anyone, a brilliant way to raise money for a great cause!
