Can anyone reccomend anywhere I can buy logs for my new woodburner I am having installed. If you can include name, contact, cost and weight that would be great. Thanks

Oh dear.
Logs I'm not so sure of, but somebody did mention they wished to dispose of an amount of wood, Chris Precious maybe. If you have previously discounted this notion...you did not say.

Steve Bennett is also local (Upton Wood), manages a substantial area of ancient woodland and is also a keen conservationist and gamekeeper. We have known him for many years and he is a good man. Doesn't have a flashy website though, sorry.

Glad to help David.
In case anyone who hasn't looked at the Sylvatica Woodlands website is wondering what Peter is on about, it's there as Tim has grants to restore and conserve Gorsehill Wood SSSI near River under a program agreed by English Nature and the Forestry Commission (lots of invasive sycamore and one area was used as a council landfill site) and develop it as an educational resouce - the sale of logs and charcoal are part of the management and financial plan to help with these aims.
And I do believe Peter is right, Tim's website probably does use Flash

I had my willow tree trimmed and have some logs/branches if anyone wants to take them away.
I can keep them for a couple of days, otherwise I'll take them up the tip.
