  It is absolutely horrible torrential rain..pounding on the roof, almost bashing in the windows. I don't think I have ever seen rain like it and it persisted in waves all day...beware the deluge! There is some unfortunate local flooding too as we can see and as we have seen on our TV screens further north. The level of rain is directly linked it seems to the warm January...flowers are blooming across the nations parks and gardens bewildered by the ambient temperatures.
  
  Took this picture through a downpour last night looking towards the Port ... only essential traffic ventured out.
