I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

Support for this chap is lukewarm at best, which is a massive shame. I've just been down to have a chat with him and he's getting a little demotivated.
The image looks great, so as you're wandering around the town please make a little detour and visit him to get rid of the coppers in your pocket

It is a shame he could not have found a site with more footfall, that is a fairly quiet area at this time of year.
The more publicity he can get the better while the money is going to a good cause.

He let the local press and TV media know he was going to be there, but no one saw fit to pass it on to the public...

Would have collected a lot more in Canterbury, a stunning piece of artwork.

Not exactly surprising, the local media like to tell us what HAS happened rather than what WILL happen.

There's a guy called Julian Beever who is a world-renowned pavement artist, his artwork is simply superb. I think his website is

Roger, Julian Beever is the artist who did this amazing artwork, apparently he is a local man.
He has done it to raise money for Children In Need.
