    As a reader of newspapers, I am intrigued by this report, and the possible repercussions. I presume that if the Kent Messenger Group takes over Kent Regional Newspapers, one of the Dover newspapers would go. Would they combine the best of both papers (hopefully it would be an end to the dreadful Dubris column in the Express), and which paper's name would survive? What happens to the staff? I can't imagine they would all be kept on. I've never seen anyone from the Mercury posting on this forum, but I have seen Kathy's postings. Would be good to know what's happening.
