The Falstaff Public House on Park Ave next to the Fire Station have an advertisement in their window for a local band to play at their pub on a regular basis.
So come on all you budding rock stars get down there and give it a whirl.

not suffering keith, they play some good stuff, unfortunately they need to have the windows open during the summer months.
a quiet afternoon in the garden is rather disturbed.
just one of those things, they are doing something positive, rather than hanging around the streets being a pain.

Hi Keith and Howard,
The band that plays in the hall come from St. Margarets, they say they are not ready to play anywhere yet, I asked Jamie about the Falstaff, but I do not think they can do it as they are not old enough to be in pub, also they are studdying hard at musical college, thanks Keith for the congratulations

may i take the opportunity of congratulating our sheila and echoing keith's question.
it is a complicated issue, but it would be great if the hall came back into full community use.
will take time, but a worthwhile cause in this disadvantaged area.
