relationship between politics,government,business and money``
PM`s fear that lobbyists would be the next scandal.....................he is proved right.
They have their tallons in to him,members of the Cabinet and Steve Hilton,Chief of Staff Ed Llewellyn.
Secretly taken film shows them at work.
They boast they can get their message to the Top People very quickly due to their having worked with
Hilton,Cameron,Osborne etc,etc for over Twenty years!.................and it works!!!!!!
So much for the promise for Transparency..................watch this space.

The practice has become blatant over recent years. If something is seen as needing attention, such attention is spoken of...end of story.
Except;
When pressed...Call for an 'urgent' enquiry.
A shift into the Lobby-industry is seen as career advancement by many MPs. Money for old-strings?
Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

dave is under pressure tonight from his own party and the reds to deal with the manipulative lobbyists.
only time will tell if he is up to the job, he promised a clampdown previously.

All this pales into insignificance when you look at other interested parties and lobby groups.
Take, as if you didn't expect me to suggest, the green lobby.
It is absolutely unbelievable how not only this but governments all over the world have been lobbied into oblivion. WWF and greenpeace are past masters at this. In fact within the EU they actually get given money to lobby, erm, the eu.
This is jackanory stuff not worthy of dead trees compared to how much of people's taxes are squandered.

You are quite right Ross.
That said - there should be some kind of control over the professional lobbyists. There is a role for them of course but transparency and some kind of code of conduct is needed.
