Ray, you say:-
'They have to be produced by a Certificate Provider, usually a solicitor who has been specifically trained and registered to provide this service, so as far as I know it is not possible to do it yourself.'
I have just been examining both of the Registered Powers of Attorney for my mother. No solicitor was used for either. There was very little 'work' involved in producing them. There are no doubt many who would be happier to end up with the same document having paid a solicitor what would appear to be a minimum of £130/document. I have better things to do with my money.
