  Most young people (not all obviously, as we have a good number living in various houses along the Folkestone Road paid for by us, via KCC and the Government) live at home with their parents and don't contribute to many household costs and so much of that JSA money becomes pocket money.
  
  I know it is a different world now to that when I was in that age range, but only because we have allowed it to become one - as parents, as society and as politicians.
