    Talking of kicking a chap when he is down. (not me, naturally)
    Is it at all equitable to say;-
    - that he should not have tripped
    -that he must have gotten himself intoxicated
    -the he is too fat for his legs or his legs are too thin
    -that he naught but a 'darky', a 'jew', obviously from the north...

    That there is some divine right to lash out at any that do not possess the strength to resist, is never in question. All talk is taken up with ascribing fault to the 'whipping-boy'. For surely whipping-boy* is the correct term. The 'young princes' here can do no wrong.
    There's a hard rain gonna fall.
