- 19 January 2012 11:44148219It's always refreshing to read about captive animals being given a better life, remember that awful story last year about the circus owners in this country being responsible for the maltreatment of that old elephant.

this chap travelled with them.
going to be a long job getting them to regain their natural confidence, they were never used in the circus so spent their lives in a small cage.
neither showed any desire to leave the cage on arrival in kent, hopefully the spirit knocked out of them will return.
