Please may I beg and plead with forumites to just give a clue as to what their threads are about when all they post is a link.
As I have said on another topic, I really hate these links and I want to know what they are about and whether I am interested before I launch myself into cyber space.
Surely people could just say I saw this link about "blah-blah".
At my age time is short and I need to know if I am really interested or if I would rather be baking, stitching or painting!!!

Well said, Diana !! I agree entirely.
Please indicate the subject in the title of the thread - or is it too much to ask ??

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

I agree entirely.
P.S.
It is also true that within the link there is often a strong clue as to what the subject matter is.
Ignorance is bliss, bliss is happiness, I am happy...to draw your attention to the possible connectivity in the foregoing.

I am delighted your lives are so full that you cannot spare a few seconds to click a link, it is a wonder you have the time to respond to them
