An offshoot of Jeane`s thread here regarding Dick Whittamore, but clearly a wider ranging topic in it`s own right. As per the comment I made regarding long life. Again, I`d be interested in member`s views on life longevity. Briefly, to me someone living to a ripe old age is meaningless. Life in human terms is brief, which is why I`m always for new scientific idea`s, cloning, human embryo research etc, which can only lead to even more exciting discoveries. I`m talking about the real, physical world here. Sometimes, I think of something as happening only 20 years ago which seems long ago, yet something 40 years ago seems like yesterday. All wrapped up in time, and what it relate`s to in human thought and longevity terms. The human body is a rather inefficient machine (sorry about that), and I`m sure most take it for granted, but shut yourself away from life with some undisturbed reading if you can, and start to find about life, and I mean life. So, do you think your life is long enough, or have you never stopped to really think about it?
