  a leading market research company has conducted an investigation into the above, it appears that people in the west of the county live considerably longer than us poor devils in the east.
  just a few examples here:
  sevenoaks men 81 years women 84 years
  tonbridge men 80 years women 84 years
  thanet men 77 years(no figures for women).

  Another poll, and who`s paying for this one? What about all those Dovorian`s and other citizen`s from East Kent who have sinced moved away from here to other parts of the country? What about all the one`s who have since moved to this part of Kent? Prove`s my point on the thread posted the other day regarding polls and survey`s. Why don`t they get a life and do something useful for once. Totally misleading rubbish, or am I missing something?

  i think that this was a poll commissioned by the government and/or county/district authorities and is very important.
  
  i cherry picked the bit about life expectancy in kent as it was relevant here, but the full poll would tell how many people would be of working age and how many retired in each area, this gives our elected representatives the info needed to plan ahead what services would be required.
  
  if they do not get it right it could end with alec, vic and me fighting for the last mobility buggy.

  Well it looks like I am going to snuff it next year according to those figures . Mind you being a Mancunian I don't think I come into that category, I am well past my sell date if you look at the Manchester figures. Looks like I am on borrowed time living down here in the affluent South East.
