  Tax cuts are only good if you are like me a tax payer, those who have no choice but to be on benefits find the do rise enough to keep up with inflation, while the very low paid would prefer the tax threshold to rise to a much higher level so they no longer pay tax.
  
  This has been said so often in the past on this forum on various threads.
