  i don't see a problem providing the shop keepers are responsible in who they sell to.

  Same here Howard and in the interest of fair play it should be if your competitors can sell that early so should you.

  This was never going to be an issue, if what the owner says is true, that ""Other shops in the area sell alcohol at that time...""
