    Reg - you mix up wrong regulation and reduced regulation for one thing but the truth be known you are just trying to hide the culpability of Labour in screwing up the regulation system.

    Brown made his regulatory changes in 1997 and got them badly wrong introducing a tri-partied system for the banks where previously there was a clear accountability to the BoE. The BoE quarterly grilling of bank execs ended with Brown's changes letting them off the hook.
