    "this regulation" It does look as if any regulation is too much.

    I grant that it is the PCC which is the focus and not Tabloid Excess.

    It would be interesting to examine what those who oppose the recommendations of this report would do to tackle the issues at stake.
    I did put forward alternative foci under Barry's blog, there has been much grumbling since, but little else.
    A lawyer drew up this report yet lawyers do not like it, perhaps it is because an establishment lawyer (Privy Councillor) did the drawing up and less establishment lawyers oppose the findings, perhaps then the report is considered to be skewed to favour the establishment.

    The difficulty for some to come clean on just how Leveson has got it wrong lies in the present default of Market Forces as the driver that led to the many excesses complained of.

    Is it simply that Leveson's call for statutory underpinning of the revised PCC is the one fly in his ointment?
