  I think that those who support the Leveson proposals are being rather short sighted. In the end it's a rather simple minded report which ticks all the right boxes for those tending towards a liberal left persuasion and is merely artillery to launch at the government by the likes of milliband and his horrendous circle.
  The dangers in the implementation of this ghastly idea will do more damage to freedom of speech and political discourse than people realise. There are clauses and recommendations hidden away which will do great damage to our democracy and will end up making those who hold power be it in the political or corporate sphere less accountable and more able to get away with corruption than they do at present.
  Cameron is very likely to give in (U-turn) again and accept at least substantial amounts of this most dangerous idea. He has form in this regard being essentially a focus group Prime Minister.
