Osborne; The chorus of forgetfulness continues. He denies he had cosy relationship with the Murdoch Empire and had no
recollection of discussing BSkyB bid with anyone !!!! or had answers to any of the crucial questions.He denied as ``complete
nonsense``that the Tory High Command favoured the Murdoch Empire to get the BSkyB contract and regarded the whole
affair as merely a ``Political inconvenience``.In all the many,many meetings with all the top people in the Murdoch Empire
he cannot recall if he discussed BSkyB !!!!!!
Osborne `blames` Cabinet Secretary Jeremy Heywood for suggesting that Hunt be given the BSkyB project to deal with.
Osborne gave clear indication his government would not necessarily comply with Leveson`s proposals.
Are the pigs that are flying.... arrogant ?
Osborne`s appearance is seen as a ``smooth the way``for Cameron`s appearance on Thursday and has been regarded as
superficial and somewhat ``implausible``when he denied ,like Hunt,that he did not have sympathy for Murdoch`s bid.
So far,so banal but he cannot protect the Prime Minister who will try to brush aside why he gave the job to Hunt knowing his
public support for Murdoch`s bid.
Neither will it be sufficient to say he asked Coulson about phone hacking and his `over friendly` texts to Brooks and the use
of her horse.
All questions regarding the Prime Ministers judgement.
On these he is on his own.
