  Yes indeed the first of the big guns came to the.. ermm ..stage this morning, none other than former Labour Leader Gordon Brown. Gordon was surpisingly good and convincing as a witness. He in effect and in simple terms said that both Murdoch and Rebekah Brooks were lying on previous evidence, and said it in a believeable way.
  
  Speaking in one instance about the publication of his young childs medical records..Brooks had said previously she had clearance from the Browns to use this. Mr Brown said this was not the case..."permission was neither implicity nor explicitly given " said he.
  
  And asked what parent in the land would give such permission. He seemed believable and appeared to be telling the truth...Brooks on the other hand in her previous evidence....well...could you really believe anything she said??
  
  It appears also that a member of the NHS staff passed the records/information on to the Sun. This I understand has been admitted by the NHS.
