The scandal of the Government's close links to the Murdoch empire could engulf David Cameron next week when he appears at the Leveson Inquiry.
On Thursday the Prime Minister will give evidence under oath and his controversial friendships and working relationships with Rebekah Brooks, Andy Coulson and Rupert Murdoch will be under the spotlight.
Since the first hearing on November 11 last year, the Inquiry, ordered by Mr Cameron himself, has been acutely embarrassing to the Prime Minister.
Several scandals have since exposed how close he and his colleagues at the heart of Government have been to News Corp and News International.
It is even rumoured that a blame game has started behind the door of No. 10 Downing Street over who thought it was a good idea to set up the Leveson Inquiry.
Sources close to David Cameron say senior civil servants are being blamed for not protecting him from the firestorm caused by the probe, despite the Prime Minister setting it up so enthusiastically less than a year ago.
