Downing St was given a humilitating rebuke by Lord Leveson amid growing Whitehall nervousness over calls for publication of private text messages.
Spokesman for the Lord said we will not judge `Hunt`s behaviour against the ministerial code as claimed by others.
They had also turned down bringing Hunts appearance forward.The lack of knowledge on procedures was questioned.Cleggy boasted they had already arranged for Hunt to be seen quickly,this annoyed the Leveson team as it implied that there was an `aggreement`between Downing St and the inquiry.
Sir Christpher Kelly chairman of Standards in public life committee has called on Cameron to refer Hunt to Sir Alex Alan.
One Special Advisor has told The Tmes ``It would be a nightmare for Special Advisors and government if everything texted to contacts was made public!!!.........should be interesting......bit like a risk register!!
