  But the question hasn't been answered: is this pathway above Farthingloe, where the anti-aircraft battery remains are, open to the public to walk along, or is it trespassing?
  I was following a public pathway and then came across this cemented pathway, and assumed it was open for the public to walk along.
  
  Unless this question is answered, there is nothing I can do, else I'd be possibly reporting myself for trespassing
