When DDC risked losing a heap of money in Iceland, that was due to over-enthusiastic "planning". That same over-enthusiastic "planning" is the whole blue-print of their core strategy.
This is one of the basic founding points in my case which I am building up against the DDC core-strategy, and the homes and property link proves that Western Heights and Farthigloe have been at the centre of ongoing talks between one or more companies, including CGI (or China Gateway as they were originally known) and this Priory Land company or whatever it is/was called - can't remember now, and DDC.
It is the only conclusion I can come to, as otherwise how could this Priory whatever it's called company have already promised they would start building over 400 houses on Western Heights in 2010, if they hadn't had the tacit approval of DDC Planning?
Perhaps it was English Heritage who prevented it, something must have come up and put a spanner in the plans.
