There was a meeting today on the Heights.
One of the points discussed later was was the idea of financing the Drop Redoubt with the building of houses. The conclusion was that, periodically, houses would need to be built in order to continue financing maintenance on Western Heights ex-military structures, whenever such maintenance be deemed necessary.

So the precedent set would lead to continued development of housing estates as the years go by, and this is bound to permanently alter the area.
We could forget going for walks up there, forget the ponies, forget the green grass, and we'd have basically another Folkestone Road with traffic non-stop.

It was announced an Australian has joined our group, I'm not sure if it's one of those who signed our petition or another one, but it seems Dover's Heights are gaining the attention of a wider audience with active involvement.

If we can set up an active group in Australia and Canada for the Dover Heights, then we can save these areas of outstanding natural beauty.
    The Cause is spreading!
